Unmotivated...

At first I was going to post something on the lines of this as a blog post, but a forum post seemed more suitable.

Over the last few days I've been feeling really unmotivated to do anything, mainly to lose weight. All the same reasons to why I want to lose weight still stand strong, but I just don't feel as motivated as usual to lose weight. I've still been under my calorie goal, but eating not so healthy options of food instead, which I know that I should not really be doing. Temptation has also crawled its ugly face back in to, which is the worst side affect of no motivation for me.

Normally, I just remind myself of why I want to lose weight and the benefits it will entail, but it does not seem to be working this time around. I'm honestly just scared of going backwards, I really am. I don't ever want to start gaining a large amount of pounds again, and not being motivated is scaring me.

I was just wondering if anyone has faced this same issue, and if so, how you overcome it? I though posting something like this may motivate me again. I'm hoping it's just a off mood.

    ME TOO. I'm having the hardest time wanting to eat right and exercising lately. I lost 65lbs.....have gained almost 15 back! I need to get my head back into it!! I started a topic "what's your best motivational tip" but no comments!
  • i lost motivation over the holidays and am just getting back on track. I lost 30lbs and thank god I didn't gain any back. I kept up the exercise though and that helped me. I just joined MFP this week and feel I am finally back on track. It took a weight race at work to get me going again though.
