I'm 21. I've wanted to lose weight for a while but just recently started to get into gear. The summer of 2010 I lost 25 pounds and I didn't do anything. I was so lazy that summer but I lost it. I don't know why. I have almost gained it all back. I'm ready to be happy, comfortable, to feel beautiful. I also want to be inspiration for my boyfriend. I believe that if he sees me losing weight and becoming happy, that he will want to do the same. I started using this site yesterday. I'm confused. What I'm doing seems just too easy so I think I'm doing something wrong or just interpreting things wrong.
I would love to meet some people to help me understand and be a supporter.

Nice to meet you all. :)

It may seem too easy at first, but it really IS this easy. Just log your food and stick close to the number MFP gave you, and lose weight. It's crazy how simple it is. I was skeptical at first, too, but it really does work if you are honest, accurate, and dedicated.

Best of luck to you both. :-)

Yep. It's that simple. Most of the time it's easy, but sometimes it's really hard.

It's really not a difficult concept. Track everything you eat. Drink a lot of water. Eat at a caloric deficit to lose weight. The hard part is in the execution and making sure you are staying on target. This is why you are here...
