I've only been doing this and on this website for 27 days. I've worked out almost everyday and I've lost 11 pounds. I have noticed the weight loss in my face, fingers, and legs, But I can't see a difference in my stomach. I haven't really cheated that much. And I've been under my calorie intake goal every day. I feel really depressed because I've lost 11 pounds but nothing from my stomach. :( How many pounds did you lose before you noticed your stomach getting smaller?

  • It doesn't work that way. It all depends on your body. Sadly, your stomach could be the last thing to go. When you burn calories, the fat comes from all throughout your body. You can't aim to loose weight from one part of your body. So it's all up to your body. It will happen eventually. Just keep pushing yourself and burning those calories and it will slowly but surely come off!

Your stomach is the primary fat store for most people. And those fat cells are like little soldiers - first in, last out. Targeted fat loss is a myth - in some areas of the body, like the arms, you can 'hide' the fat somewhat by building muscles but you can't do the same trick with your stomach.

Also u said u were somewhat cheating...lol I think we all do from time to time.....But to answer ur question with a question....what kind of exercise are you doing? I know for me I walk on my treadmill...and I dance (behind closed doors..lol)..I also do sit ups...this helps tighten ur stomach musles....all in all I think if u try not to cheat log everything u eat and log ur exercise U will see how well u are doing......somethings just take time...don't get depressed..think about the weight u have already losed and how great ur body feels...When i lost my 1st 6lbs I felt great..proud of myself...take it one step at a time and one day at a time...good luck on ur journey :)
