    I need to geek out for a second just to point out that batman isn't technically a superhero, as he posseses no superhuman abilities.

    But still, he's awesome. In fact that makes him even more awesomer!

    Batman - and I will tell you why.

    Bruce Wayne, although sure he's a millionaire, is a man, not a mortal. He was orphaned at a young age and grew up with massive issues such as guilt and had to cope with the loss of his parents which were shot down right in front of him.

    Batman has no super powers whatsoever. He is completely self made. His thirst for justice and his respect for life is quite admirable.

    Yes - I love Batman. :)

    i generally find the ones who don't have superpowers, like Batman, pretty amazing. so, my favorite is maybe another Batman-type hero, like Rorschach.

    Some really good answers in here! As a comic book geek, I'm so proud of all you MFPers for not just going straight to the obvious answers.

    Rorschach and Deadpool are too incredibly interesting characters (who also happen to kick *kitten*, and are both very funny guys).

    There's too many Spiderman comics for me to catch on :( Not a huge Spiderman fan... That and Thor is really boring. Loved him in the movie & in the Avengers; however, his comic is reallllllly boring lol
