Losing 25kg AGAIN - 25 yo female from syd

Hey everyone - thought I would put in a little introduction post - not sure how many people read these things.
25 yr old from sydney. I was always overweight but when I was around 21/22 I went on a mission and lost around 25/30kg (down to 63 kg[size 10] - i am 5"6). I didn't do it very sensibly though - the regime consisted of not eating much at all during the week (i was hungry a lot!), then eating and drinking what I wanted on the weekend.
I kept this up for a couple of years but slowly the weight came back a little to around 68 - 70kg.
Last year I went back to uni to do a year on top of my original degree. It was ultra stressful and time consuming (12 + hr days, <5 hrs sleep per day + part time job) and my health suffered. I also broke a few bones in that time which didn't help. The weight really packed on in that year.
So now I am almost back to where I used to be, and again am on a mission to lose around 25 kg. I have already lost around 3, but there is much more to go. I am hoping to do things right this time - i.e. consistently eating well instead of starving during the week then getting smashed and eating kebabs all weekend.
Looking forward to logging stuff down and seeing if it helps. I am pretty active at the moment, training in judo/mma 4 times (2 hr sessions) a week (with a 1.25 hr bike ride to training from my work), and aiming for a low carb diet (not crazy low carb though ).
My weaknesses are alcohol (I love to drink a lot and go dancing!), the sweet stuff (chocolate, cakes, donuts, fudge, cookies etc) and controlling portion size.
Anyway - if anyone has any tips or experience they think might help, feel free to let me know! I can use all the help I can get!
Catch you all around! I've read some of the forum posts and some people have some really inspiring stories, which is great and keeps me motivated

Sometimes the hardest thing seems to be losing weight healthily. Sounds like you're on the right track! And yeah, the sweet things are my nemesis too. Damn you delicious sugary things!0

thanks for the advice! I see you are aiming for a 3000km hike in NZ!!!! woo! that will be great! what an awesome country, I have been there once and can't wait to go back again. If you are going to do a hike anywhere for 3000km, NZ would be the place! what a beautiful landscape0
