How fast for a rep?

How fast should a rep take? Going from doing it in a class to music-to now at home alone?

There's a lot of factors. It depends on the exercise; the intensity (i.e. amount of your 1 rep maximum); what number rep in a set of how many reps? (usually the last few reps are slower), and I'm sure a few other things I've forgotten.
What exercise and how heavy is it for you?0 -

"The Strength Training exercises are done with a slow six second Rep" This is probably too long. If you're grinding out a few last reps with heavy weights (heavy being relative to your strength level) this will happen possibly. It varies by person, but the lifts mentioned (Overhead Press, Bench Press, curl, tricep extension) normally will take between 2-4 seconds per rep until you get to the point where you're near fatigued. Deadlifts may be the exception, because it's one of the most taxing lifts on the central nervous system, though that's typically not going to be the case when you're using weight that you can do 20 reps with.0
