Question re: Food Diary

I don't seem to be able to find a way to save foods as favorites or recently added single items. I have gone to "My Foods" and searched for an item that came up from the data base when I was in my food diary but could not search for the same food in "My Foods". I tried creating a new food and saved it but it did not come up anywhere when I went back into my foods to save it. There does not seem to be an auto complete function for something that I entered yesterday but I ate it for dinner and now I want to add it to lunch. Kind of tedious to have to search for each food every day esp. if it is part of say a tuna salad. Any body know how to solve that problem? I'm sure there is a way.

Also, my calorie goal yesterday was 1200 calories and now it is 1600 and some calories. How does that happen

OK. I figured that one out. It added my exercise to my calorie goal so that increased my goal for today. Hmmm.

My Foods is for things that YOU have added to the database. Recent should show everything youve recently had for that meal by default. you can change it to show all meals. im not sure why your created food didnt show up anywhere after you entered it.
you can copy your dinner yesterday to today, it will add it to dinner, but then if you click it you can change the meal it saves to.
as far as the calorie difference is, you get to eat more calories when you enter exercise so that your body stay properly fueled.
