How do you calculate what your actual BMR is? I was thinking of taking the average of the 3 I know of, but I'm unsure of what to do.

Here is the generally accepted formula to calculate your BMR.
Women: BMR = 655 + ( 4.35 x weight in pounds ) + ( 4.7 x height in inches ) - ( 4.7 x age in years )
How ever no one person is the same therefore using one formula for ever single person isn't an exact science but you really shouldn't see a dramatic difference (+/- 100 Cal) between that different BMR calculators.0 -
Which ones have you seen and how do they differ?
I've used this one and I like it: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm
I like that it gives you a choice of which formula it will use, and it also provides a convenient zig-zag schedule.
You can probably ignore a lot of calcualtors that don't ask very much info from you. The less data they have as input, the less precise the answer will be.0 -
Both came out dramatically different…0

In the one nehushtan posted, make sure you change the "Exercise Level" drop down to Basal Metabolic Rate. I calculated using both formulas and they were about 60 calories away from each other - close enough to be accurate for my purposes.0

Yeah I changed that and it helped a little, but then I did the calculator with my body fat % and it was around a 165 cal difference0
