    This.

P90X is hard. The first time I did Plyometrics I couldn't make it through the warm up. It will also be the most rewarding 90 days you've ever had. Don't give up and don't get down on yourself if you can't complete workouts at first. Believe me, you will get better faster than you would think possible.

Tony Horton is annoying to listen to...just beware of that! Otherwise the workouts are awesome. In fact, I think I'll go do Kempo right now.

Your body will tell you no, but you have to keep going. I couldn't lift my arms the morning after doing the first workout. I'm ashamed to say, I quit. I'm working to get myself in better shape before I start anything like that. I'll probably go with Insanity as it doesn't require any equipment.

Agree with this. As much as it will hurt after the first couple of workouts, keep on going back to it. It will be tough in the beginning but it gets easier. Don't try to overdo it. If you feel like you need a break at first, press pause. After a few weeks you'll realize you can do everything and keep up.

I start week 4 today. Theres a significant different in my back, arms, butt, legs, shoulders, and a slight improvement on my chest.

Some people think he's annoying but the line I laugh at while doing backward arms circles is "it's like a pterodactyl backing out of trouble"

I'm supposed to start with yoga x today and really struggle through it. (not a fan)

I am currently doing P90X2.... I have done P90X twice. The best advice I have is to stick with it..and do what you can. There are lots of modifications so if you can't do the more intense move then go to the modification. You will work you way up.

Its a great program.. I actually like Tony and don't find him annoying. I think you are going to enjoy it.

I'm not a fan of yoga x either! I've been doing yoga for 4 years and I was not impressed with his teaching style. If you've never done yoga before i suggest finding a basics drop in class so you can learn the correct techniqe and go from there. It's a lot easier if done right.
Starting week two today. Tony Horton is a little annoying to me lol.7 days down 83 more to go!

That's awesome, I just started yesterday. I only made it halfway through Core synergistics, but will do my best with tonight's workout. Make a calendar, so you can actually see what you have to do and do the work out! It's hard, it's discouraging, but it works!
  • So how did it go?

I always thought the first video was the hardest but I'm sure others will disagree with me on that. All of those push-ups!

After a few weeks, you will get used to it and you will be shocked to see how many push-ups you can do in an hour.

keep pushing play and write everything down. As others have stated - Yoga X is no bargain, especially if you have no Yoga experience.

I've been doing P90X and Insanity since March of last year and let me tell you it is probably more important to follow the diet more so than getting through the workouts.

I started P90x Today. For the second time. I did it over the summer, then started running. Now with the weather so nasty I started P90X again. Again the first Chest and Back disk worked me out. I'm going to be sore tonight when I go to work. But it FEELS GOOD.

Good luck. I just finished the first 7 days. Tough but doable. The pylometrics is supposed to be the worst, I actually found it fine but then it hit me 2 days later and I couldn't walk! Be careful. After that it gets easier and I found Kenpo like a relaxing rest session compared to pylo.

It is a tough routine, but if you give it your all the results are well worth it. One of the things I did was tell everyone I know that I was starting it, that way they would hold me accountable. When I first started I couldn't finish some of the videos but I just did as much as I could everyday and eventually got there. For me the soreness hit me the second day after each video. Just remember the first week or so is by far the worse, it gets much better once your body gets in the routine. Do yourself a favor and really get in a good stretch before and after each workout, your body will thank you. Good luck. I hope you get great results!

"80% of weight loss occurs in the kitchen."

Reading that was one of those 'Ah-ha!" moments for me.

I am interested in this, but it is quite expensive isn't it? I'm just wondering if it's worth it to those that have done it?
