Help Explain the Exercise Calories???

Hi,
I have understood so far that if MFP says I should eat 1250 calories/day, and I exercise off 400 calories, I should eat those 400 back so my body doesn't think I ate only 850 calories. Right??
What about the goals I set at the beginning of MFP? I said how many pounds I wanted to lose, but I also set how many times/week I would like to exercise. Does MFP already calculate my exercise calories in to my daily amount, or are the exercise goals listed only for my reference?
Thanks!

Try these links. Eat them back.0 -
As it says when you enter in your fitness settings;
*Net calories consumed = total calories consumed - exercise calories burned. So the more you exercise, the more you can eat!0 -
Also, read the first post of this thread.

No MFP does not already calculate exercise calories in.. what it does is take lifestyle and how much you want to lose(250,500, 100 calories a day) and come up with a calorie. It may take into account hypothetical exercise, but I don't think it actually counts unless you log it.
I find it easier to think like this, those 850 calories is what you're body needs to run all bodily functions, plus repair muscles/recover from exercise.. and to me, that doesn't sound like nearly enough.
I eat between 1750 and 2000 something a day... and so far I've been losing just fine0 -
Thanks everyone.
I understood the same things as you guys, I just read a blog post that basically said that if you set your goals to exercise, that your daily caloric intake reflects the exercise you should have been doing each day. That didn't seem to be what I had understood, so thanks for clearing it up!0
