eating plans, help!!

Hi All,

I'm wondering how often do you eat and do you exercise/burn like 1500 calories or so and then eat like 1200 (as in do you have more calories burned than calories consumed? I know some people don't believe in the eating every 3 hours or so but for me that's the only way I can get past 1200 calories, otherwise if I eat the way I would normally eat (a meal around the time i wake up and then waiting until dinner to eat again and that's it). I was able to lose 8 pounds from dec. 25th to about 3-5 days ago but now I find myself slowly gaining weight back and I don't know why. I feel rather frustrated and want to punch calories in the face. What do you all suggest to help me have continued weight loss.
