I'm always on the lookout for new and interesting iPad apps. So I though i'd share 10 that I have that are not necessary must haves, but ones that you might not know of and possibly want to look at if you havn't already. Note that all of these are free, though some have proper paid versions.


Planetary
Space themed music player. Bands are solar systems, planets are albums, songs are moons.

imo.im
Instant messaging app. Supports multiple platforms... MSN, GTalk, Facebook, Yahoo!, Skype and more.

Free Wi-Fi
Find public free wi-fi in your area.

Flipboard
The social based news app. Considered the iPad killer app.

Zite
Another news app that learns what you like to customise your content.

Doodle Buddy
Paint with your fingers.

Remote Mouse
Use your iPad to control your computer mouse. Full paid version allows typing as well.
Note: needs an program installed on your computer to work.

Toontastic
Can't say I have had a chance to really get into this. But it allows you to create you own little comic stories.

Temple Run
Addictive little action game.

NASA App HD
Yup, they have an app! Learn more about the solar system and the US space program.
