HRM - Does "cool down" count?

Maybe I'm overanalyzing things...but I'm curious what everyone else does when using their HRM. Do you stop it immediately after you cardio workout, PRIOR to your cool down? Or do you keep it going until you have actually stepped off the machine?

I count. One in and average. I've calculated it both ways for my own entertainment and take into consideration the additional "time" I worked out. It calculated about the same. Since I log my time spent on fitness each week I view that as important to know where my time is spent more than calories specific burn.0
