Help on low carbs please!!!

Hi,
After reading a lot of litterature on losing fat, it appears that my carbs are very high...eventhough I never eat refined food (except whole grain bread and 0% yogurt). The 6 pack programs suggest to keep carbs below 100g/day to increase fat burning, 200 is definitely too much...well on a normal day I already have 1 apples, 2 oranges, 1 banana and 1 carrot; I will also get two clementines today as I stay home, which already result to 150g...my yogurt and bread make it 200. I can deduce 23 of fibers but what if I want an apple before going to bed? I mean this is healthy right? Any chance to reach 10% body fat with many fruits and keeping bread and pasta in the diet?

I don't see any reason why not. Carbs are not what determines whether you lose weight/fat or not. I've always had 200g+ a day (I love pasta!) and have lost weight easily before on that. So have many others I know. I was around 17% body fat at my lowest (don't know what the equiv. of that is for men though)
Also it's unbelievable how many carbs my bf eats. It's probably his main source of food, loads of sandwiches every day, pasta, rice etc and he's around 11-12% fat. He isn't trying to lose body fat, he just ended up like that, he lifts a lot around 4 times a week, but doesn't do any specific ab exercises to build muscle there and has abs when he tenses them but just light definition when standing normally.
It sounds like you have a very healthy diet too with enough fruit/veg so I wouldn't worry about it unless you actually start having major problems dropping bf% and have tried everything else0 -
Fruit is good, but you eat a lot. I would watch portion.0

Well I am on the begining of the journey and I went from 25% to 17% doing cardio, stopping chocolate and 500g dailly yogurts. I went from 96 to 90kg (with many socialisation dinners killing my weekly diet) and I decided to start light weight workouts 2 weeks ago. Since then, I stop losing weight but definitely improve my shape (I see muscle everywhere now). So it is too soon to say if I will get my abs or not, I just consider quitting bread and pasta like stopping to have a normal life...and my wife is skinny even though she eats them. I will now try to increase my proteins and see how it goes then0

I see what you mean, I wouldn't see cutting bread and pasta as a normal life for me, and personally wouldn't be able to keep it up full time, I'd end up binging on cakes/biscuits or something like that! Sounds like you're doing great how you are as well!0
