Healthy Living Game Day/Party Food: So, what are your best low(er) fat, low(er) calorie recipes for Division Championship Sunday and Super Bowl weekend? I'm trying not to blow my good eating habits from the start of the year. A little cheating is cool...but I don't want to drown in fried food greasy goodness and overindulge. I do want to splurge a little and still feel like I made good choices. Any good recipes that folks have "made over"? Thanks for your help!
I'll start: Pigs in a blanket - I use Hillshire Farms all turkey Lil' Smokies cocktail weiners and cut reduced-fat Pillsbury Crescent Rolls triangles into small sections. I wrap the lil smokies in the small dough slices and bake for 10 - 15 minutes. 5 turkey smokies are 80 calories. 1 reduced fat crescent roll is about 100 calories. So, I estimate less than 200 calories for a serving of 5.
