Half way there!

Just felt the need to share! I started living a healthier lifestyle this past November and as of today I have lost 72lbs and have 71 to go in order to reach my goal. I'm very excited to be more than half way there! But I think I am more thrilled about what a great feeling it is to improve yourself and move forward. I am looking forward to getting to my goal because that is just the beginning. then I will continue to get stronger, better and faster. This started as a way to be a little healthier and now I enjoy it so much that I am looking forward to a life of self improvment. MFP and the friends I have made here have been a huge part of it. Thanks everyone for being part of that experience. No matter how big or small your role has been. It has been great and I am looking forward to tommorow!
Cheers

Congratulations. You lost that much weight
just since last November? That sure seems like an awful lot of weight in a short amount of time.
You must be encourage. Well, you are! Way to go.
I'm curious (if you care to share) if you are working out on a heavy schedule or what all you are doing besides counting calories because I don't know anyone who loses that kind of weight in 6 months.0 -
I've been staying with my calorie goals on a daily basis and hitting the gym on average 5 days a week. Sometimes more. At the gym I usually get 45mins of Cardio in. (Elliptical or treadmill) then about 20 mins of strength training. I have not consistatnly eaten my exercise calories. I only eat when I am hungry so I have been under at times. I don't really advocate not eating your excercise calories as you need to make sure your getting nutrition. While I am staying under my calorie goal the stuff I am eating is very nutritious. Lots more organic than I used to eat. And I am a guy. Weight tends to come off of us faster. Hit a couple of little plataues during the time I have been working on this but usually upping the calories and taking a day or two off from the gym got things going again.
