Grecian Green Beans
Options
From my old recipe blog. Even tho the recipe doesnt call for it, I had a bit of minced garlic to mine. Garlic is my main go-to for flavor.

2 cups fresh green beans (2-inch pieces)
1/2 small sweet onion , cut into thin wedges
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small tomato , cut into eighths
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 Place the beans in a saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil.
2 Cook for 3-4 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain.
3 In a small skillet, saute onion in oil for 3 minutes.
4 Add the beans; saute for 5 minutes or until tender.
5 Reduce heat.
6 Add the tomato, oregano, salt and pepper; cook 1 minutes longer or until heated through.
