I started some 20 days later than that but it's like a new year and a new life to me anyway! It will be officially 2 months tomorrow and not only have I been so easily sticking to it but I feel times more motivated than at the beginning and there's no bunnies or anything in the world that can stop me anymore or deprive me from the right to be happy, healthy and satisfied in my body!

I signed up for this site on December 31, 2008 after I stepped on the scales and was horrified that I weighed 292 pounds, the most I have ever weighed in my whole entire life. However, I didn't officially start logging my calories, exercising, etc. until January 1, 2009. As of today I have lost 30 pounds, the most I have ever lost in my whole entire life, before this the most I have ever lost was 20 pounds and then I would get discouraged and gain it all back and then some. Anyone who wants to can read my full story on my profile, it is way too much to write here.

    You're all doing so good!!!!!
    Congrats!
I joined mid-January & had hoped to lose more pounds by now, but the missing inches more than make up for it. I lost 10 inches in my first 4 weeks.
11 more weeks. I'm working for at least 11 more pounds.

I hit my high weight point around the holidays, but didn't start logging and actively working on loosing until Jan. 20. In just over 8 weeks I have dropped 21 lbs! It has been a whole change for me, though several conferences for work I have still managed to be more aware of what is going into my body and more importantly how much. This wasn't so much of a New Years resolution for me, but that switch in my head went off and I knew I had had enough of where I was. I wasn't going to hide behind my excuses anymore! I may have additional challenges with an underactive thyroid and a rare inflamitory autoimmune disorder, but I am no longer letting them give me a reason to give up!
