That is the one thing that keeps me working out especially because I have a bad knee. I actually injured my knee from doing the turbo fire workouts and my dr advised that I stay away from that.. I placed Zumba on hold at the library. Dance is low impact and easy on my knees. I'm getting bored with the DVD's I have because I'm doing so much cardio salsa/ hip hop dance.

Ummmm... it really depends on what type of music you like, imo.

I like Bhangra (Bhangra Beats Volume 1 Is great- Jay P. Is a fantastic instructor).

When practicing belly dance- just varied belly dance music is good for that (electronic music is good for Tribal Fusion belly dance).

For a more eclectic type of dance work out I have a dvd of Misty Tripoli (http://www.amazon.com/Groove-Complete-Collection-Misty-Tripoli/dp/B004SS0TQ0/ref=sr_1_2?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1327271380&sr=1-2) It was only 10.00 on amazon and has four dvds- the dances are different- but for the price, quite a bit of fun.

Since I like Disco, besides just making up my own dance from combing moves of "the bus stop" and "the hustle" and just playing disco on my iPod, I also have the dvd "Disco Dojo" which is quite fun. But if I'm just looking to dance, I'll just make up my own thing, ya know? :-)

Besides that? Ummmm, it will really depend on what music I want to dance to- Classical is great to work on ballet (or even trance/ambient music, like Orb- since it's very calming for me), electronica or electro-swing is fun for a bit of swing dance or modern dance... I guess it would just depend on the tempo.
