I haven't formily introduced myself yet, though I've been lurking around here for a few months to check out the vibe. This site has been very helpful since I started using it more regularly, as of late. Seems like a nice and positive community. Looking foward to some good motivational boosts and constructive advice.
I had a question. Any opinions on working out at night as opposed to the morning? Anyone feel they get more progress outta either? Anybody do both? I primarily workout in the evening, but because I work early in the morning (get up at 5:30am).... I fear of cutting into valuable sleep time. I get about 5-6 hours of sleep a night.
Looking forward to getting to know sum of you regulars. lates

glad you found MFP, welcome to the most awesome place to get support, advice, recipes etc....
I work out in the evenings, mostly because of my work schedule and the two boys I'm trying to raise!!! I prefer the evenings to the mornings....why, because after a good workout at 5 pm, my appetite isn't as strong....I can eat a nice green salad and some baked or grilled fish/chicken and feel completely satisfied.... I can relax and fall asleep easier and sleep well through the night when I do this.....when I worked out in the morning I would find myself eating more through out the day because I felt I had already had a good workout etc....and it would be okay....I have become a firm believer in the 6 small meals/snacks a day as it has kept me feeling satisfied and my metabolism appears to be motivated!!!
anyway that's my take on mornings vs evenings....welcome again and look forward to more posts!!!:flowerforyou:0 -
