My grandmother always said " Amy, anything done in moderation USUALLY won't hurt you. But too much of any one thing in life can do harm honey". In those days she was talking about alcohol and pot and she was saying this not to scare me, but because she was a very wise woman. She didn't have a medical degree or any training in phsycotherapy either, but it seemed like every time she spoke, she was molding me into a strong woman with a great yearning to learn. I just forgot for a while about her and now Im so overweight its not funny. I am sluggish and moody and am not the person I used to be. Im not as confident and am on anti depressants just to work . So Nanny? Heres to you. I won't ever forget the many wise things you taught me and I'm getting Amy back now so I can feel good again. Hope this helps someone.

Amen! I eat dark chocolate, drink a glass or two of red wine, and use fully leaded half and half in my coffee almost every day. These things make me happy in moderation. It is not what you consume, it is the amount you consume that makes the difference.0
