Feeling hungry

I woke up this morning feeling starving soo much that I had more that just my normal cereal. Is there a reason why I feeling this hungry Ive been eating alot more than I use and trying to maintain is that still not enough? Notes
I try to eat around 2000cals a day atleast
I workout out about 3 times a week burning around 1800 cals

    That means your metabolism is working well.
    Hungry is a good thing! The only way that you could wake up not hungry is if you ate a really big meal the night before---in which case you would have stifled your chances of losing weight.

    So be happy that you're hungry.
    It means your stomach has finished digesting whatever was in there before, and is ready for more.

    I'd say you feel so hungry in the morning because you've been sleeping for (ideally) 7-9 hours, so your stomach is EMPTY! If you're finding you're still hungry after the cereal, munch on some fresh fruit. Or better yet, beef up your breakfast with some protein (no pun intended), and it'll take your body a little more time to process the meal, leaving you feeling satisfied for a longer period of time.

    I tend to wake up thirstier than I am hungry.

    ^^ This. Woke up starving this weekend. Thought I needed a quick food boost. Nope, I was actually thirsty. Downed some water, and I was fine for breakfast. First time my little brain put two and two together about hunger vs. water. But your mileage may vary. :}

    Yeah, I'm the same way ... but usually in the morning I am just really thirsty. Give me some water or some unsweetened iced green tea and I'm good 'til about 8 a.m.
