menopause and weight loss

Had my annual physical recently and I am thinking about rejoining weight watchers. I am a lifer and I do know the program works. However, I did ask my Dr to set a weight loss goal for me. Trying to be realistic about being over 50 going through menopause and loosing weight to be healthy. I did not want to have weight watchers set for me an unrealistic goal because that has always happened in the past. Looking for feedback on how to stay motivated with the challenges of age and menopause. Thanks

Well, if you don't start today, then where will you be in a year or so?:flowerforyou: You can do this. Lots of women are losing weight everyday, regardless of their age. Who says you can't be one of them?
And don't sell yourself short by setting your weight goal too high. Set mini goals of losing a certain amount of weight each week. It will make it much more doable. And do the same thing with workouts. Start out at walking for 20 min. a day, then up it by 10.
You really can do this-I know you can!
