Losing weight pretty quickly without effort?

Okay, so I have an interesting story. Last Thursday I was super upset because I had only lost 1lb over the week and I wanted to really average 2lbs a week. Thursday I really started focusing on making sure I drank 9-13 glasses of water a day. When my official weigh in came on Friday I lost 3 lbs making my total weight loss 6 in 2 weeks time. I was pretty excited and then became a bit obsessed with weighing myself every morning even though my official weigh in is Friday. I am trying not to do it, but that isn't the problem. The problem is that since Friday I have lost 3 more lbs! Two Mondays ago I started at 265, this morning I currently stood at 256. That's 9 lbs total so far. Don't get me wrong, I am excited and today for the first time I felt like I could really tell the difference. But here is where the problem is: I haven't worked out since last Wednesday because I twisted my ankle and wanted to let it rest over the weekend. I eat close to if not only 5-30 calories short of my goal every day. I am not targeting to lose weight quickly but the healthy way... So in all of this, my question is am I doing okay? I eat close to my 1400 a day, I don't deprive myself of any foods, heck I've had pancakes for dinner and tater tots from time to time. So do I need to change things or just enjoy the weight coming off leading me closer to my journey?

You just have less water retention. Just to give you a heads up................if you start exercising again, don't be shocked if you don't lose or your weight goes up.
