Hey everyone... My biggest problem is my cravings. Specifically, sweets and carbs. I no longer have cravings for sodas, etc. But even after not eating chocolate/starchy foods for weeks, I always come back. I understand the chocolate thing but starchy foods like potatoes, breads, and crackers??? Any suggestions on how to get rid of these cravings would be awesome. It's very frustrating.

I try to find healthy substitutions. I believe some of your cravings are due to your body needing something and the other times, it is out of habit. For chocolate, I try to eat dark chocolare (small amounts) or I drink Coco Pure. This is a great green tea with chocolate powder and is only 10 calories. Not as sweet as regular chocolate but may help you with your cravings.

Potato chips are my vice. I love them but they do so much damage to my weight gain. I found rice chips or other glutten free ones. I try to have one serving every other day. This way I can feel like I am eating chips but not have the affects of eating the bad chips.

I have read other suggestions of brushing your teeth when you get those cravings or chewing on gum. I have lots of gum in my house. Good luck!
