OK, so I'm developing a phobia that there are three of us, all starting the thread for the day at the same time.

Today is my first scheduled day off. But, as it's lovely outside and my husband and I are spending the day together, there will be leisurely walking. I'm debating on making my day off also a day off from logging food.

Met all of my goals for the week. (my week starts on Sunday. . .) Was really tired for the last two days of the week. I'm not sure if it's from pushing too hard while still a teeny bit sick. . .or just getting used to being hardcore again. I noticed a big difference in the quality of my Bikram this week, by not doing it three times. There are people that do it everyday, but I frankly don't know how. It is usually all they do (no other working out).

    Take care of yourselves!:flowerforyou:

Oh, and CP, I have a conference in a few weeks in Ithaca, and I'm really sad there's no more "fast ferry". . .it would have saved me the worst driving. . .

    Hi everyone,

V-enjoy your day with the hubby

Didn't post my goals yesterday. I usually try to leave it until the end of the night but I went out to see a little Jack Russell puppy:smile: and got back late. So yesterday's this morning and today I'll put on tonight.

    Goals:

    1) log in all meals: I did, but didnt want to as I had already hit my total cals by 4:30pm
    2) Exersise three days: Have done two so far, not yesterday though
    3) Eat Healthier: Not horrible, but did indulge in some sun chips
    4) Work 8.5 or less: Yes:smile:
    5) Stay in cals::grumble: Nope, and I knew I was in trouble but kept eating.:frown:

Solid D ....and can't even give myself a better grade for effort......

Ok, today is another day. I have many chores and really want to get a work out in so I'll let you know how it goes.

    Good morning,
We are going hiking today. I am also breaking my no sweets thing to get ice cream from Dairy Queen. We are never near a DQ and will be today. I figure I will work off enough calories (I hope!) to be able to have some.
Alright so does this count? I tested for my push ups this morning. I made it to 100 but my knees fell a few times. At one point I sat there for about two seconds. The other times I got back up immediately. I'm kind of bummed that I wasn't able to finish without falling. I think working on my car had to do with that. I'm kind of bummed. I really wanted to finish this weekend. I will probably test again on Monday.
I need to get ready for our little trip. This will show me just what horrible shape I am in.
    See you all later!
    Have a good day!

MM - what horrible shape you are in - after doing 100 push-ups?:noway:

Ok, this goes for everyone (myself included), stop being so critical - focus on what you can do. Ever in a class and notice what other people can do that you can't? How about the things you can do that others can't? I bet you think a lot more about your own limitations (not that you should gloat either ). Some people can't roll their tongue, does that make tongue rollers more talented? You are all dedicated, strong people - embrace it. Lecture over.

I felt quite virtuous yesterday - riding my bike downtown to yoga class (40 min each way) - and a little smug as a passed all those cars in traffic (it's our biggest festival this week - SXSW). I plan on biking to yoga either today and/or tomorrow as well.

    Bike, yoga, boogaloo,

    Mary

Yes, actually it does.
You are right, Mary, as usual. I shouldn't be so hard on myself. Neither should anyone else on here! We're all doing great!

Thanks for the lecture, Mary. I am already feeling pretty proud of myself today. I got up and went to gym, ran for 25 minutes straight (after only telling myself I had to do 20 minutes), then came home and did my strength routine for today and tomorrow (because I want to take tomorrow off). Now I am considering doing a pushup test just so I can feel super virtuous about relaxing the rest of the weekend.

MM- holy cow, you did it! OK, maybe you collapsed for a second but you did great! I think even on the website he says it's alright to pause for a second if you need to... :drinker: You are awesome.

Yeah, V, the fast ferry was nice... We got to take it once while it was actually running. Too bad our city government is going to be paying it off for the next 20 years... doh! Have you been to Ithaca before? It's really nice. They like to say 'Ithaca is Gorges' (like 'gorgeous') because of the gorges around there. (I know, cheesy, but it is pretty. )

Anne, visiting a puppy sounds like fun. I don't think I have energy for one full-time, though!

Have a great weekend, all! :flowerforyou:

Mary, that's the exact lecture I've gotten from two other people this week. Apparently, I'm being told something.

That has been part of my project lately: being impressed with myself every once in a while.:flowerforyou:

OK, I just did 80 pushups. Woo-hoo! This morning almost makes up for the fact that I was tired yesterday and ate junk food.

Hi everyone! Didn't do so well yesterday. Walked all the way to the gym to find it closed and for some reason just couldn't stop eating yesterday. I took comfort in the fact that I was snacking on fruits and had about 350 calories left when I did this ... however, then I went out last night. I think I drank all the calories I didn't eat this week damnit. Then I went to taco bell. It was a good time though, so I'm just going to work extra hard this weekend and not regret it too much.

    So goals for today.

End the day with at least the calories of one beer not eaten.
Get my butt to a gym that's open.
Not get talked into going out again tonight. lol.

Hope you all are having a wonderful day!

I'm so upset. I had a $200 credit for Air Canada for bouncing me off my flight in Septmber. I am going to Nova Scotia in May, I was hoping to use it. I have torn every part of my house apart and it is gone. AirCanada says they cannot track these they are like cash.

So now.......I have no coupon and a very messy house to clean.:grumble: :grumble:

At least I'm up and moving cleaning...

This will bug me for a while

CP, sounds like you had a good day! Congrats on getting to 80 again! You'll be there soon! I may stick at week six (or testing all week) through this coming week and then go back to week 3 or wherever I test at when I work on getting lower. I will probably be humbled.
Deanea, sugar is my weakness too. I had a blizzard today. I have to really limit myself and I can't keep any in the house at all. Sorry you lost the credit! That stinks. I hope it will turn up somewhere!
We had a good time hiking. Alex did pretty good. He fell and scraped up his knees and elbow, and of coursed screamed which he is so good at! But he was a trooper! We hiked 3 miles, up and down hill. Then we played in the river. It was fun. I am tired. Tomorrow is a day off, unless I decide to go for a walk or work on my car.
I hope you all are having a good weekend. See you tomorrow!
