Eating Enough?

I am set at 1200 calories per day, but I find it really hard to meet that.. I also do Zumba once a day and burn between 200-400 calories, and I don't make up for what I have burned..
Is this bad?

If you're burning calories, then it's okay to eat more. That's why the 1200 it sets for you is called the "net" intake. The reason that it is hard for you to eat only 1200 calories while exercising is because your body is trying to tell you that it needs more food! Just make sure that the food you give it is what it needs. If you're exercising, that means a good deal of protein.0

I will never understand how 1200 calories is difficult to achieve.
Eat higher calorie foods if you can't manage to eat enough. Peanut butter, nuts, avocados, full fat cheese, etc.0 -
If you are finding it hard to eat that amount of calories in a day... make sure you are doing three things.
1) Make sure you are properly measuring everything you eat. LIquids and foods. A serving is usually a lot smaller than the servings we believe.
2) Make sure you are tracking absolutely everything you consume. Even those little nibbles as you make lunch/dinner etc.
3) If you still end up not being able to reach 1200 a day switch to higher calorie items that you now eat the low cal versions of. Use regular salad dressings and dips. Regular yogurt, Regular cheese etc. Add some nuts - a very small portion will help to increase your calories eaten.0
