Hi All,
I am currently taking Maxitone Sculptress when I cant get to my protein target using source protein (ie from chicken, tuna etc)
Im thinking of trying another brand as I don't rate this one to be honest....
I am aiming for a 2lbs a week loss through calorie reduction from what BMR sugguests and 3200 cals burnt a week through exercise...
Advice/Opinions please....

lol protein shakes for women n men same hting... haha prices range is mainly for the amount of flevour and consistency you want... one of my current fav is bluestar whey smooth... tastes amazing n breaks down very nice...
most macros on all of them are the same 90-120cals 0-4carbs 25-35g protein
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO GNC!!!!!! it is the most over priced store/franchise there is!! for the price of lets say protein.. i could go buy 2 of them at bodysystems.. same brand.. same stuff... even popeyes is cheaper...0 -
You don't have to take one that is specifically for women, just watch the calories and caffeine in them. I take one that tastes amazing, but I can't remember the name of it, only 130 cals for a shake x0

I went to NutriShop and bought the Pro-5 Protein Powder and it is great tasting and great nutrients. I did compare it with the cheaper ones I found at Walmart, BJs and it was the best for the money. Different flavors like Banana, Coffee, Chocolate. You can taste them before you buy it. They are all yummy to me. I actually to not but the womens one and ended up buying the regular one as suggested to me by the employee (I trusted his advice he helps body builders and is very knowledgable when it comes to this stuff) I bought the standard one instead of the womens one due to I am very active and work out 5-6 days a week intense. I hope you find one you like! Good Luck!0

Keep an eye on sugar content. And be aware your body can only process so much protein at once about 30 in a meal. So space it out. More if you have exercised I think forty could be more... U can get natural, in soy vegan etc, so many choices if you go to a health store like vitamin shoppe. And you can get some with higher carbs in them so read labels.0

For the Nu-Tek Pro5 Protein Powder:
Per Serving (1 Scoop)
Calories 145
Total Fat 1g
Cholesterol 15mg
Sodium 35mg
Total Carbohydrates 2g
Sugars 1g
PROTEIN 32g
Calcium 100mg
Potassium 500mg
Digestive Enzyme Complex 25mg
Hope this helps!0 -

this is myth it depends on your weight, lean muscle mass, activity lvl for how much ur body absorbs...
e.g. Jay cutler.. 276lbs off season... he eats 2.0g of protein per lb... so that would bring him to = 552g of protein a day.. space that crap out through ur regular day at 30g of protein... haha0 -

I LOVE Muscle Milk Light in Stawberries & Cream. I mix it with skim milk and it totally fills me up and keeps me satisfied for hours. I buy it online through Amazon so it's cheaper than going to a health store.0

I concur with the Jay Robb's protein. Except I use the Vanilla Egg White protein, YUMMO0 -
Yeah I noticed the Maxitone Scupltress has caffine in it and their new recipe has less protein and more carbs than the one before it....
I'll do my research on the ones you guys have recommended and get some sorted before this tub runs out
Thankyouuuuu :happy:0
