Looking for a group to join! HELP!

Hi!
Im totally new, just joined today. I noticed there are alot of groups like the Biggest loser in which the leader does weighins of each member and such. I am also looking for a local work out buddy, (im in Holly/Clarston MI area) Please I need people who are willing to motivate me from the beggining and through.. :ohwell:
p.s. my summer goal is to lose around 50 pounds before/by the end of July, I know this is a little extreme but its what I need. :ohwell:

I really am not looking for any type of group in particular, I just want to be in a group where people will give suggestions and motivate together.. and we can regulate each others losses together.. lol

All you need to do is join in! BL groups are finishing up soon........but there are many many groups that would welcome you.
I think CMRIVERSIDE has one that is called THE group........Or you can start up your own. Nothing more encouraging than encouraging others!!
Please feel free to join in on any thread. A group of us post our positive daily PROUDS on one thread........there is somethign for everyone0 -

Hi and welcome.
I'm part of a group called "Bring It" -- I don't know if it's your thing but it is all about eating only whole and healthy foods, avoiding bad junk like sugar, processed foods, fast foods, and working out pretty much every day. Basically, we inspire/ motivate each other to keep "bringing it" every day and staying healthy and in shape.
It's kind of rigorous -- I mean, you don't get kicked out if you eat a sundae (whew!), but negative habits are frowned upon and positive habits are encouraged! So if you're interested in joining you can check out our group here:

I'm part of the group we call "sixers" (right now, you'll find us under motivation and support-- Sixer's Spring Clean Challenge). Essentially we're all different ages and sizes, and we break each challenge down into six weeks. The first week, everyone posts their beginning weight, and what we want to lose during the challenge. Some of us also post measurements, because sometimes you don't lose pounds, but you do lose inches. Every day, the group pops onto the thread and posts how they are doing (good or bad) with food, exercise, and just day to day stress and goings on.
Each week, on Tuesdays, we start a new thread, and everyone updates their weight, and shows their losses (hopefully). It's a very supportive and friendly group. I think we're in week 5 right now, but feel free to join us if you want (never put off what you can do today), and we'll be starting a new thread on Tuesday, and in two Tuesdays, we're starting a new challenge. Toss up between the name "Sixer's spring into summer challenge" and "Sixer's hopping into spring challenge".
Go back, read some of the posts, and if it feels like a group you'd want to join, come along!0
