I'm working on my birthday - total bummer. Would like to go out to lunch for something tasty, without blowing my day. I can afford about 400 calories for lunch. Thoughts? Nearby we have: Panera, Qdoba, Wendy's McDonalds, Taco Bell, KFC, DQ...

You should be able to pull up the menus and nutritional info for those places online. Just decide beforehand then. Happy birthday!

Sadly, most fast food places will probably blow it. If you like salads however, the McDonald's salads aren't all that bad. From what I know, most of them are under 300 calories and they're all really big!

Happy Birthday! I like panera. I get the you pick two with soup (usually broc and cheese or chicken noodle) and a salad (usually the asian sesmae chicken.) Its so good and only about 400-430 calories. They have the nutrtional info on their website. Just remember the you pick 2.

Panera!!! It's soo good and probably the healthiest from your list! The you pick two is great. Just don't look at the bakery section :)

Happy Birthday! I'd go with Panera for lunch. If you get the You-Pick-Two with Garden Vegetable Soup and Mediterranean Salmon Salad it comes out to 390 calories. Get an apple as your side to have as a snack later, a nice big glass of iced tea, and you're good to go!
