losing half my body weight

hi guys, im really new to this, i dont know where to start............
i need to lose about half my body weight :0/ my diary says im eating too few calories but im full on what im eating....... help!!!!
is this bad for my health?. im already under a gp for health advise while dieting. apart from been overweight im a healthy 31 year old (luckily) apart from the bad back due to weight.
im determined to succeed and i have all the motivation in the world when i look into the eyes of my babies (3yo and 18mth)
its the first time ive ever decided to diet so any advise or tips would be helpful (im in the uk if that makes a difference to any advise)
i was thinking of trying to join weight watchers or slimming world or something similar but not sure if i really need to....

I sent you a message, I think I "know" you from another support group. I have to lose 50-70 pounds...it's going to be a long process but we CAN do it!!0

i havent received any message hun, but i know we can do it too, im more than determined to be there for my girls. ive got about 150lbs to lose!!! im ashamed to say that but thats me :0( we will get there !!0

sneaking in some peanut butter, or bananas in to meals are a good way to reach your calorie goal for the day without feeling like you are eating too much. I have that problem too where it says I'm not eating enough so I try and have a large piece of fruit or something since they're light but usually have around 100 calories0
