Not really looking to pay a lot of money right now or joining a gym. But would like to add more strength training then body based or my 5 lb dumbbells.

I understand at this price not going to be the highest quality but for the cost worth it or not?

I recently purchased a weight bench from weider and sent it back because it wasn't comfortable for decline position exersizes. I would spend a few bucks and get either more dumbells and an exersize ball or resistance bands. I've been using my ball in place of the bench and when I do I have to keep my abs engaged the whole time so I figure I'm killing two birds with one stone...so to speak.

    good luck

A exercise ball and dumbbells would be cheaper, more flexible, and dumbbells are a better workout (you use more muscles to control 3 dimensions). I use the ball to keep the abs engaged and to do pushups to pikes.

For a weak goal of "just add strength" these will be fine.

For a better goal "become my strongest/fittest" you should look into free weight, not a machine.
