I'm being lazy and figured I would ask you guys instead of wasting my time reading labels in the store.
What is a good low-cal bread or wrap I can buy for making a sandwich?? Right now Im buying whole wheat which is 80 calories a slice. Not bad, but is there anything else??
I LOVE wraps, but the calories are so darn high.
Thanks!!

I usually just have small Flax Pita bread (45 cal) and toast it with some ham, cheese, tomato or lettuce. Sometimes I also just eat it toasted with my egg whites and cottage cheese. It is delicious! Here is the company's website. I usually buy mine at Cub Foods or Byerly's...I don't know where you live, but I'm sure you can find it!

I like the Sara Lee 45 and delightful bread. I know it's not 100% great nutrition, but I can buy it and the kids will eat it too, so half my loaf doesn't go moldy. If it's just me eating it, a loaf goes bad. But this stuff really tastes good, and is only 45 calories per slice.0

I also eat the Natures Own double fiber bread. I am pretty meticulous about reading and comparing labels and this really gives you more bang for your buck. Again nutrtionally sound and only 50 calories. The extra fiber is also helpful for keeping you full and regular!0

Weight Watcher Bread. It's a little expense but you're not afraid to eat it because it won't blow your meal plan. Serving Size - 2 slices; 100 calories; 18g Carbs; Dietary Fiber 4g; Protein 6g; Fat 1g.0

You could always use large lettuce leaves as a wrap too. That way you could save calories and maybe even put more filling if you like that. Makes it portable too!0

I've been using Whole Wheat Pitas a lot lately! They're quite delish!0
