I have been hearing a lot about the Spike Diet lately. What exactly is it?
Can anyone give me an example of a weekly diet on the Spike Diet?

I'm wondering about this too. I've tried researching it but I can't seem to find a whole lot of detailed information about it without being prompt to buy the book and such. From what I hear, it's like a low carb thing where you eat strict for a few days, then eat more (sometimes twice your BMR) for a couple days, then back and forth. But I don't know a whole lot. Would love to hear more about it!

Not sure if its the same but it is probably referring to metabolism spiking. Basically you eat at or lower than your daily calories for a set amount of time then you jump up one day (not eating bad necessarily just eating a lot more) and the idea is that your metabolism gets out of whack and it causes weight loss and vice versa.
I do it often and have had the most success with it but I spike both ways, up and down. It is more often than not when I eat more than my daily intake that I lose the weight.0
