I find that I really love listening to metal music when I lift weights. Does anyone have suggestions on any good tunes?

I like a very under rated genre of metal known as Folk Metal. \m/ I recommend Finntroll, Korpiklaani, Ensiferum. They have some good beats! also gotta love Dragonforce and i'm a sucker for Elven King (but only Heathenreel, the other albums aren't as good to me).

OMG, Testament is awesome! I introduced my son to the "Practice what you preach" & "Souls of black" albums. So awesome that my teenager loves the same music I do! Yay! LOL

I tend not to listen to much heavy metal when I workout, but I listen to music that most other people probably wouldn't listen to.

The bands I tend to workout to are Disturbed, Combichrist, Ayria, Angelspit, Jack Off Jill. Some heavy metal (or at least near enough for those with an untrained ear) thrown in there, but I mostly listen to Industrial when I workout, particuarly when I'm shadow boxing!

    duh.

    agreed.
  • I have no idea what it is with Maiden, but I seem to alternate between Live After Death and Seventh Son when I work out. Both are very different, but they both get me all fired up.
