Salmon Calories

Hi I've posted this question before. I used the search button "calories" "salmon" and nothing came up about my old post.
How many calories are in SALMON? I buy salmon from Sam's Club. The big salmon, not the individual packs. MFP has salmon calories all over the place. Sam's Club package doesn't say wild, farm raised, nothing!
I googled "How many calories are in Salmon" and I got this? Why would salmon increase in calories after it is cooked?
Calories in 4 oz of salmon
Here are examples for both cooked and raw salmon.
Plainly cooked (grilled/oven/poached/steamed/broiled):
204 calories in 4 oz of wild Atlantic salmon
232 calories in 4 oz of fish-farmed (not wild) Atlantic salmon
Raw:
160 calories in 4 oz of wild Atlantic salmon
208 calories in 4 oz of fish-farmed (not wild) Atlantic salmon.

I'm not sure about it, but perhaps it shrank when it's cooked..? So a 4-oz salmon may become 3.5-oz or something after cooking..

I agree with above poster , meat will shrink when its cooked so 4 oz of raw salmon will be less than 4 oz of cooked salmon.0

That's a good point! I never noticed the salmon shrink that much, but I hadn' weighted it before vs. after.

The Costco Frozen Atlantic Skinless/Boneless with 4% Salt and Water Solution 6-8 oz filets come up as 340 cal, 0 carbs, 20 fat, 37 protein. May be similar to Sams Club. This is Kirkland Brand which is Costco's own brand.0
