Today marks 6 months of logging with MFP and i've lost exactly 30lbs.
I still have a ways to go but i'm proud of myself for staying committed!
This is the first time in 5 years I've really felt good about myself and my body!

I'm wanting to lose 30 pounds by the end of June. That will be 6 months for me. I've currently lost 2 and weigh in on Friday. I'm looking foward to the results.

The only tips I can give is eat your calories! Too many people on here think eating very little is going to get them to their goal and it's simply not true. Eat the calories you're allowed and enjoy life It's about the longer term, not the short term! Also, never give up! Never let a gain get you down, just stay on track and keep at it!
Don't beat yourself up because you ate pizza or had cake or a soda or whatever. I've eaten anything I've wanted, just in moderation. I'm cut back on the junk food and I rarely drink soda, but if I want a soda i'm going to have one and if I want to have chocolate i'm going to have it.
Exercise and a balanced diet is the key to weight loss. There's no magic or quick fix. It takes a lifetime of dedication and I for one plan to stick to it.0 -
