Hi, I have been partial Vegetarian (only chicken) for about four years now and have been wanting to go all the way for just as long. I haven't been able to because I am living with my parents and didn't have a job to by my own stuff. Now I'm married my hubby has a job and we're planning on moving out in the next couple months and I was wanting to know what should be on my shopping list so that I can jump off the deep end so to speak.

I have a very limited budget for food so the more affordable the suggestions the better. Also are there any specific stores that are good to go to? As I'm pretty sure wal-mart isn't the best option.

I'm not planning on going vegan I am far to addicted to milk and cheese.

    Hi!

I used to be a vegetarian before I had my kids (pregnancy got me craving meat, had low iron, ect) and also am living on a limited budget...check out the website www.poorgirleatswell.com. It is not strictly vegetarian recipes, but does have an extensive section of vegetarian recipes. I highly suggest the butternut squash and leek bisque...it is kick *kitten*!

    good luck!
