Hi everyone! My name is Kayla, I'm from Oklahoma. I have been using myfitnesspal for almost a month. I started this journey on December 30th. I've lost 6 pounds which is huge for me. I have a 20 pound weight loss goal by the end of April. I am the maid of honor in my best friends wedding. My ultimate weight loss goal is 60 pounds. My fiance is deployed and will be coming home in a few months and I am a nursing student that will be graduating with my RN degree in May. My weight has always been a struggle. I am a food addicted, relying on it for every emotion. I am an emotional and boredom eater. I was always an overweight child, in high school I thinned out a bit but was still about 20 pounds overweight and then as an adult I ballooned after having children. I lost about 30 pounds using Phentermine but then stopped when it started making my heart do funny things. Ever since then I have struggled to maintain the weight loss. I have successfully stuck to a 1500 calorie diet for almost a month, eliminated most of the junk out of my diet and havent had fast food in almost a month! I'm not sure why one day it all clicked but I am happy it did. I am currently at my lowest weight I have been as an adult and loving it every time I see a pound disappear from that scale! I am hoping that once I have the eating down, I can then start incorporating an exercise routine. One thing at a time for now!
