I have no choice in the place. I am thinking of ordering the al a cart menu of Napol salad and vegetarian black beans.

What are your thoughts? Better choices?

Thanks

Why don't you go for either the tacos or the fajitas? Then you can just have mainly the meat and salad and maybe only 1 or 2 of the tacos or tortilla wraps. The chicken ones probably sound the best and should be quite good as long as you avoid the cheese and the sour cream.
    Mexican is a nightmare though!!

Fajitas, salad, or black beans, Limit your consumption of chips, Don't get anything fried and eat up on the guac but in moderation.

When I go to the mexican restaurant with friends I ask for grilled chicken with rice and fresh veggies., They don't have a problem with it.

Ala carte veggie tacos or chicken tacos on corn tortillas instead of flour and a small nopal salad with dressing on the side.

I think your choices are smart. The chili would be a good option too.

Keep watch on your portion size, that's the thing that usually puts us over.
