Help with tracking exercise!!

So as part of my exercise everyday, I've been cutting out using the elevator at work, and have started taking the stairs instead. Does anyone know how I would track that, though? Should I keep track of how many minutes it takes me each time, tally up at the end of the day and calculate it then? Should I even count it at all? Or just not worry about tracking that and add in whatever other workout I do each day? Because it doesn't take me all that long, especially if I get a parking spot on the top level of the parking garage and only have to travel one flight of stairs to my office. But the days I am on the third (bottom) parking level, three flights of stairs twice a day can add up quickly. Not sure how to go about this!
