So I know that calories are very important to watch and I am but what else should I be tracking?

    Protein. carbs, sodium....for sure. And water intake.

    I track Calories, Carbs, Fat, Sodium, Protein and Cholesterol.I think Cholesterol is important if you eat meat.

    It really depends. I used to track sodium, sugar and fiber, which are all important, but I was consistently good on them so I dropped them for other things. I track calcium because I'm older and worry about my bones.

    For weight loss, calories are most important. If just starting out, I'd suggest calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sodium and sugar. Then adjust as you feel necessary.
