Final 10 Weight Loss Plateau

Hey everyone!
I am looking for a little advice on those last ten pounds. I'm not sure what I should do... I'll first tell u the short story. So far I have lost 35 pounds (175-140: I'm 5'7, 20 years old) To get to where I am now I spent the summer on a 1200-1400 calorie diet and exercised religiously, most days 30-45 minutes of cardio. I have been "slipping up a bit" as I have gotten closer to my goal and have been stuck at 140 since September. However, even when I do maintain a strict 1200 calorie diet, the scale barely budges. I am also doing 60 minute workouts 5-6 days a week right now. I've read a lot about changing your goals to losing 1/2 lb a week, but I'm not sure if that will work for me. ANY and ALL advice is greatly appreciated here. I'm getting frusterated and just want to see the scale move below the 140 mark. Oh, BTW, my final goal is 130.
Thanks in advance!

I've just reached 140lbs and have got 11lbs to go, it seems to have taken weeks just to drop the last 2lb and I'm desperate to be '9st something' for first time in about 16yrs!
I find if I exercise everyday I tend to gain water so I stop for a few days drink loads of water go low carb and get my lowest weight again to see how far I got to go then start up the exercise routine again.
I'd really love to get to 129lbs to complete wii fit as it says I should be 9st 3 and BMI 22, but I'd be happy with 9st 6 or 9st 7 if I can get there as it would be right in middle of the healthy range for my height for medium frame.
I stopped counting calories but did to start with but found when I went low carb I rarely go over 1200 unless I add chocolate or a brandy and coke! .. and as long as I have exercised that day and got 'spare calories' anyway I feel ok about it.
It's better to lose slowly as I think more likely to keep it off than go extreme diet or diet pills to drop last 10lbs then it comes back on again as soon as you stop. I'm very impatient by nature so its really frustrating but I will be so ecstatic when I finally see 9st something on those scales when I lose the next 1-2lb!!! :happy:0 -

All of these things, diets, nutritional lack and toxic buildup cause basic chemical reactions in our body and brain that causes us to gain weight or hold on to it. Putting our bodies into fat storage mode.
I focus on weight loss by providing our body with what it NEEDS. This works with your body rather than fighting against it. It’s not about cutting foods out but rather adding them. It may sound strange but with this method you eat whatever you want, whenever you want… as long as you also provide your body with foods containing specific nutrients.
In a way, you could say that with the onslaught of processed foods, our bodies have lost the ability to identify the types of food that contain the nutrients it needs. By providing it with these nutrients we re-educate it and in time our body starts craving these foods rather than the junk it craved in the past.0
