If you're on your period will it affect your weight? My first weigh in is on Wed. and I started my period yesterday grrrrrrrrr
I'm a little nervous to weigh if it's going to throw my numbers off...
Thanks!

Hello & welcome :flowerforyou:
during our TOM, we ca gain upto 5lbs, so might be an idea to leave the weigh in for your first week until next week - it can be so disheartening if the scale says you've gained - it never takes into account our cycles :grumble:
either that, or weigh in any way, bearig TOM in mind, you never know, being the first week, you'll have lost water weigh which may well counter balance the TOM :happy:0 -
Unfortunately, it's very likely that your TOM will affect your weigh in. Just prepare yourself for that & know that your body will adjust and your weightloss will show once you cycle through. Just a lovely part of being a girl!! :bigsmile:0

My weight has gone up by as much as 6# during TOM, I stay faaarrr away from the scale that week, why depress myself looking at a number that is not accurate. I agree with the last poster, give it a week!0 -
My weight goes up 3-4 days prior to my TOM, but goes back down a day or two after I "get it".0

if you started your period yesterday you might be ok by wednesday. I usually gain a bit the day or 2 before and then I'm good to go after the first 2 days of my period.0

It can affect your weight, but like a pp said, you might be okay by Wednesday because my weight gain is always right before I start.0

Thanks for the advice!!!! I'm just going to skip this weigh in and wait until the next week! Even though my heart was set on weighing in because I've done so well this first week so far it will have to wait... :ohwell:0
