Hi there
I'm a 43 year old man, living in the northern burbs of Chicago. I've lost about 22 lbs so far, but I have a way to go. I'm at 325 now, and want to get down to 200 - so a ways to go, but I'm committed to making it happen. I've been exercising on average five days a week (combining cardio and strength training) and eating between 1800-1900 calories a day.
But...there's always a kick in the pants I need. I do get discouraged when there's minimal movement on the scale, but my clothes have been fitting better, and I'm feeling better. I can't remember when the last time I was under 300 - and I want to get there soon. But, I also know a good trend is between 1-2 lbs a week, which is about where I'm at now.
Anyone else in my situation?
