I have completely changed my eating to lean proteins and veggies, some fruit and if I eat starch it is brown rice or sweet potatoes. The problem I have is SALT! I use it to flavor my protein, throw some sea salt on my veggies and low sodium soy on my brown rice. So now that I have adjusted what I eat, I want to change how I eat it thus less salt. Any recommendations?
A normal meal for me would be Lean Cuisine for lunch (with a side of veggies), which is easy during the work day. I know this is full of salt.. ugh! I also eat a lot of ground turkey, mix with veggies and some brown rice (and soy)... I eat this for breakfast a lot. I eat lots of grilled chicken salads with balsamic vinegar mixed with a low cal light balsamic vinegar salad dressing. Salt salt salt! What other flavors can I use that will not have the same impact as salt?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
