I have a limit of 1200 calories. This morning I drank Coffee from Caribou. The problem is after drinking this I'm over my sugar limit of 25 grams for the day. My sugars now is at 45 grams. I'm also over my saturated fat by 2. I'm not sure what I can eat for the rest of the day now! I've been trying to watch my sugars, carbs, and sodium intake. I should have checked the nutrition before I left the house but was in a hurry and needed something! What should I do?! I'm 5ft6, just did my weigh in today I'm at 202.12. I started this program 15 days ago, and started at 206 lbs.

These are the nutrition facts for a Caribou Coffee SMALL mint Condition...

1200 calories doesn't leave a lot of room. I would just focus on the fat and calories for today and hit the protein harder. Cottage cheese, yogurt, eggs and you get the picture. Tuna is also pretty low calories. We all have days where we go over. The important thing is to get on track the next morning. Good Luck

Veggies and lean protein for the rest of the day and you'll be fine! We all slip up, and keeping it at 1200 is tough sometimes. Can you exercise today? That will give you some extra calories.

I hate to say it, but the best advice would be more to drink that coffee anymore. If you are really keen on sticking with your 1200 limit, it's equivalent to almost a whole meal! Try just having plain coffee at home or something.

That said when I've indulged in the morning, I like to snack on things like yogurt (I have Source - it's 35 calories), carrots and cucumbers with low calorie ranch dressing, clementines or oranges, nuts (they are bit higher in calories but they help you to feel full), and salad with lots of leafy greens.

Don't worry if you go over. One day over won't set you back a whole week or anything. Just try to eat healthy for the rest of the day, and start fresh tomorrow!

    Good luck!
  • Thanks everyone. & I've been doing really good about sticking to and under the 1200 calorie diet. I work out most everyday. Yesterday I ran six miles maybe it'll do me some good to do it again today. I will stick to the lean protein and veggies and try not to add more sugar today, which will be very very hard.
