fell off the logging wagon :(

Well The past March Break i did not log any food or exercise...
The reason Monday Morning while getting ready to plan my day... My daughter almost 11 "what are you doing all the time" " your not fat why?" To that I said your right.... and walked away from the computer.

I am not in the overweight catagory , im in the normal range. I would like to look and feel better, but what am i portraying to my daughter and beleive it or not my son as well. They are both very active thin children, They do not own video gaming systems , and We make sure they play outside daily, have Karate , and Riding lessons.

So I thought to myself I will make sure we are active everyday during March break doing Fun active things , swimming , skating ,yardwork for me, nature walks. I did not log my calories but still watched what I ate, I am sure I probably went over here or there, but I did not gain a pound stayed the same." so victory yes i think so". I still have 6 more lbs I would like to lose, but I am not going to worry about my calorie logs on weekends and when the kids are home on P.D days, I will do this for myself during those off days , because i like to lose those last few, but it is not my life now.
I was constenly running to the computer to adjust and calculate and worried over plateus and such.
Now I will just try to be healthy..............
Exercise daily and try for the last 6

  • Sounds like a good plan. You definately don't want your kids to poor self image from this. I think logging on when they're not around will still help give you the motivation and success you want. Keep up the good work! (weight loss and parenting). :flowerforyou:
