So my wife just called me while I'm at work and asked me to run a 5k with her.
Being almost 300 makes running not so easy.
A friend of mine has this program that is similar to the Couch to 5k method:
Week 1: Walk for 4 minutes, Run for 1. (repeat however long)
Week 2: Walk for 3 minutes, run for 2. (Repeat)
Week 3: Walk for 2 minutes, run for 3. (repeat)
Week 4: Walk for 1 minute, run for 4. (Repeat)
Week 5: Run all five minutes (resting with a minute of walking)
Anyone have any ideas on a good way to "condition" yourself if you never really run?
