Help me resist tonight's burger night

It's been stressful at the house lately, so I thought I'd take the evening "make dinner, clean up dinner, do chores" off for all of us tonight. I invited DH and DD-22 out to dinner. DH is going home after and DD and I are going out shopping just to kill a little time and stay away from the house.

Our house is 20 mins. from town so going out to dinner is not something we do often.

The centrally-located restaurant is having half price burger night.

What's my best strategy? I am really craving the burger.

Should go ahead and order what I want, slice it in half and send DH home with the rest?

Should I order something different altogether and try and assuage the beef craving tomorrow. I've got a lot of venison in the freezer, which is really low fat.

I did not get much exercise in this morning and will now not be able to go to the gym.

What would you advise?
The restaurant is a mom and pop, so I can't look up the menu for calorie counts.

I would cut the burger in half and enjoy it! Or, skip the fries and eat the whole burger and have a side salad or fruit or applesauce or something. Usually the menu will tell you how much the patty weighs (quarter pound, third pound, etc) so you can look it up and get a good estimate afterwards. Make sure you drink a lot of water to help process the sodium.

I'm leaning in that direction. I usually allow myself 10 fries and NO beer!

Ask them to remove the bun and just have them make the burger in a "lettuce bun", get a side salad, and a stevia sweetened tea.
